Hagerstown police were called to downtown Hagerstown on Sunday night for an accident involving at least four vehicles, according to the Washington County 911 center.
At least two people were taken to Washington County Hospital, officials said.
The accident occurred at the intersection of South Locust and East Baltimore streets at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, a 911 dispatcher said.
The crash occurred when an eastbound van on Baltimore Street made a left turn onto Locust Street at a red light and struck a Buick that was traveling west on Baltimore Street, Sgt. John Lehman said.
The Buick struck two parked cars on South Locust Street and came to rest on the back tire of a tractor-trailer that also was parked on South Locust Street, Lehman said.
