Noteworthy Sundays to start Sept. 12

Washington County Free Library will hold the first concert in the Noteworthy Sundays at Your Library Concert Series Sunday, Sept. 12, at 3 p.m. at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts.

The first concert will feature classical guitarist Candice Mowbray.

Mowbray has performanced in many concerts as a solo guitarist and a chamber musician. She is the artistic director of the annual Hagerstown Community College Guitar Mini-Fest. She has taught for Shenandoah Conservatory, Mount St. Mary's and Shepherd universities, and Hagerstown and Frederick community colleges.

Due to the library renovation project, all concerts in the series will be at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts at 7 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.

All concerts will take place in the Black Box Theatre on the lower floor. To access the theater, take the Potomac Street entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the lower floor.
