Basset Hound Rescue Walk

Hundreds of basset hounds and their owners will walk to raise money for Basset Rescue of the Old Dominion. Contest and games will follow, including a 25-foot-tall Hush Puppies inflatable balloon. 10 a.m. walk begins; 11 a.m. games, contests and auctions. Walk will be at Antietam National Battlefield, Sharpsburg Pike, near Sharpsburg. Games will be at Washington Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown.
