Three taken to hospital after I-81 accident

One person was flown to Hershey Medical Center and three others were taken by ambulance to Chambersburg Hospital after a three-vehicle accident Thursday on Interstate 81 near Guilford Spring Road, according to a Pennsylvania State Police press release.

Neither the names nor the conditions of the victims were available Friday morning, state police said.

The accident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday when a Ford F-250 was hit from behind by a Ford Explorer and pushed into the back of a disabled tractor-trailer, the release said.

The interstate was closed for about 20 minutes while emergency workers responded to the accident, police said.

    State police seeking two teenagers

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for two juveniles who are believed to have run away late Tuesday evening or Wednesday, a state police press release said.

Devin Heintzelman, 15, of Mercersburg, is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, police said. He has an athletic build, short light brown hair, blue eyes and wears braces on his upper and lower teeth.

Police say Heintzelman is believed to be with his girlfriend, Lakiesha Hensley, 14, of McConnellsburg. Hensley was last seen wearing greenish-gray shorts, a black T-shirt and Reebok flip flops, according to police.

Anyone with information may call state police at 717-264-5161.
