LEETOWN, W.Va. --Commercial and pure-bred beef judging occurred Thursday afternoon at the Jefferson County Fair. The fair continues through Saturday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds near Leetown.

Costs: $5 for ages 16 and older, $3 for ages 6 to 15, free for ages 5 and younger.

Today:

  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Open horse show

  • 4 p.m.: South Jefferson Ruritan chicken barbecue

  • 6:30 p.m.: Carnival area open to public

  • 6:30 p.m.: Tractor and 4-wheel drive pull

  • 7 p.m.: Sale of 4-H livestock animals

  • 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.: The band Sunday Obsession

    Saturday:

  • 12:30 p.m.: Pet show

  • 2 to 5 p.m.: Carnival prices reduced for kids

  • 5:30 p.m.: Antique tractor parade

  • 6:30 p.m.: Tractor and 4-wheel drive pull

  • 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.: Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band
