Man wanted in 3 states arrested in W.Va. Eastern Panhandle

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- A South Carolina man wanted by authorities in three states was arrested Saturday along Edwin Miller Boulevard north of Martinsburg, West Virginia State Police said.

Vincent R. Bielarski, 21, of 497 Springfield Road, Pawleys Island, was charged with being a fugitive from justice, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and providing false information after police found 131 Oxycodone tablets, 15.5 grams of marijuana, and $1,103 in cash in the vehicle he was riding in, according to a news release.

Kristopher A. Craft, 22, 122 Karla Court, Martinsburg, who was also in the vehicle, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy, and providing false information, according to the news release.

Bielarski was wanted for outstanding warrants in Florida, Maryland, and Virginia, according to the news release.

They were stopped by police about 2 a.m. on Saturday after a Sheetz employee reported that one of the men attempted to purchase alcohol with a damaged identification card and became irritated when told it was not valid, according to court records.
