Greetings, neighbors.

Hoping all is well with you.

Author to speak

Local author and historian Warren Gray will ask the question, "Was Flight 93 Shot Down?" in a program at Boonsboro Library Thursday, Sept. 2, at 6 p.m.

United Flight 93 - the famous flight of heroes who stormed the cockpit to stop the terrorist pilots - was the last airliner to crash Sept. 11, 2001. The 9/11 Commission Report lists no official cause for the crash and the flight data recorder indicates that the heroes never made it into the cockpit. So what really caused the aircraft to go down, and why was debris found eight miles away? Join Gray for a well-researched presentation. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is requested. Call the library at 301-432-5723.
