Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, volunteers from the Brethren Disaster Ministries project in Indiana will share their experiences at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Hollee Winders will be worship leader. Ana Gaines, Rebekah Minnick and Kasie Stotler will share the children's story. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Benevola United Methodist Church, Boonsboro, Pastor John Dean will speak Sunday at the 9 a.m. Promotion service on The Bent Over Life. Sunday school is at 10:15 a.m.

Blair's Valley First Church of God, Sunday at 10:45 a.m., Pastor Bob Stone will speak on A Time of New Beginning. Special music by the Stone children and grandchildren. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. Evening worship is at 7. There will be an open house at Clopper's Grove Fellowship Building in honor of Pastor Bob and Joy Stone's 50th anniversary, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday activities include Bible study at 7 p.m.


Bridge of Life, 14 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, Bill Yount will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday.

Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Pastor Len Smith will speak on The People of God at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. Gene Detrow will be worship leader. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday Bible study at 6:45 p.m.

Brownsville Church of the Brethren, Sunday, Pastor Alan Smith will speak on I Knew You during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Esther Kidwell is worship leader. The Praise and Worship Team will present music. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp will meditate on The Challenge of Pointing Godward at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Hispanic services at 6 p.m.

Christ Community Church, 8916 Mapleville Road, Sunday, Pastor Rich Carr will share the message Magnify God, Part II - Personally Magnifying God at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school at 11 a.m.

Christ Lutheran Church, Pastor Robert McIntyre will speak on Remember the Sabbath at the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Christ Reformed Church, UCC, 304 E. German St., Shepherdstown, W.Va., across from the train station, Ronald Grubb will lead the 11 a.m. communion service Sunday on Hobbling on the Journey.

Christ Reformed UCC, Sharpsburg, Pastor Delancy Catlett will lead the congregation at 9 a.m. Sunday on Healing Reign.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the Rev. Carol Hallman will preach Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The topic will be Sabbath Healing. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Christian Science Society, the topic Sunday at 10:30 a.m. will be Mind. Sunday school for young people up to age 20 meets at 10:30 a.m. during worship. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. The Reading Room at 235 N. Potomac St. is open one hour before and after services.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Timothy Leighton will lead the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday. The topic will be Walking Tall. Adult Bible study is at 10:45 a.m.

Concordia Lutheran Church, the Rev. Emil Gretarsson will lead the 8:15 noncommunion and 10:45 a.m. communion services Sunday. The topic will be Narrow-Mindedness. Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages. Bob Shives will lead the adult Bible class.
