Crafters, artists needed for Market Day in Pa.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Planning is under way for the sixth annual Market Day celebration on Saturday, Oct. 2, in downtown Waynesboro. Craft and artisan vendors are wanted to participate in the event, which is sponsored by Mainstreet Waynesboro Inc. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Last year's Market Day attracted thousands of visitors, with more than 100 vendors, live music, a variety of food, a chili contest and a block-long scarecrow display adding to the festivities.
