Sagittarius Salon fundraiser benefits Alex's Lemonade Stand

  • Sagittarius Salon & Spa recently raised more than $2,000 for Alex's Lemonade Stand through its annual children's Back to School Cut-a-Thon. A $7 minimum donation was asked for each child's haircut, with all proceeds benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand. Local business also donated raffle prizes and Elliott Lyles set up his Lemonade Shack in front of the salon, offering lemonade and other goodies for donation only. Alex's Lemonade Stand helps fund research to find a cure for childhood cancer. The foundation has raised millions of dollars and funded more than 80 research projects nationally.
