Man arrested twice for allegedly trying to rob same business

A Hagerstown man was arrested twice Tuesday for allegedly trying to rob the same Salem Avenue business.

Hagerstown Police said in statements of probable cause that Brian Allen Faith, 21, of 1345 Salem Ave., was arrested at about 6 p.m. Tuesday when he tried to break into Salem Avenue Auto Exchange at 1433 Salem Ave. After being charged with attempted fourth-degree burglary and released, Faith returned to the business at about 10:40 p.m. and tried to rob it again, the statements of probable cause allege.

Faith, who lives in an Arc of Washington County group home, was charged with a second count of attempted fourth-degree burglary in the second incident, according to documents.
