Paul Junior Johnson, 71, of Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md.
Born Aug. 19, 1938, in Greencastle, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul Edgar and Mary Elizabeth (Benchoff) Johnson.
He was the husband of 29 years to the late Rebecca Ellen (Taylor) Johnson, who died July 17, 1990.
Paul retired in 2003 from Frederick Training, Frederick, Md. He was a truck driver for more than 14 years.
Paul is survived by his second wife, Lia E. (Soto) Johnson; two sons, Brian D. Johnson and Rodney W. Johnson; three daughters, Christie D. Koontz, Paula K. Dagenhart, all of Hagerstown, and Brenda D. Shafer of Maugansville, Md.; one brother, Harry L. Johnson of Greencastle, Pa.; five grandchildren, Mandi L. Johnson, Justin R. Shafer, Tana M. Peterson, Laci D. Johnson and Shi A. Johnson; and one great-grandson, Camden T. Shafer.
