CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ten companies will lead the 2010 United Way Pacesetter Campaign, which sets United Way of Franklin County's annual campaign into motion.
Noel Purdy, executive director of the Chambersburg Chamber Foundation, is serving as chairman for the Pacesetter effort. Participating companies begin their early fundraising efforts, according to a news release.
This year's Pacesetter Companies include Boyer and Ritter, F&M Trust, Franklin County Literacy Council, Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, M&T Bank, Orrstown Bank, Patriot Federal Credit Union, United Parcel Service, Target Distribution Center, and Tower Bank.
"The Pacesetter Campaign is truly representative of the larger campaign and demonstrates that all of us, working together, can make a big difference," Purdy said in the news release.
