A crowd of 4,409 was on hand at Municipal Stadium to see the Hagerstown Suns on Saturday.

Unfortunately, they saw little offense from the home team as the Suns were shut out by the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 4-0.

Four Greensboro pitchers scattered seven Hagerstown hits while striking out 11 Suns.

Sandy Rosario (6-2) got the win, pitching three innings in relief of Greensboro starter Robert Morey.

Greensboro got on the board in the top of the third when Jose Duarte reached on an error and scored on a double by Kyle Jensen.

The Grasshoppers (55-62, 23-24 second half) kept the momentum going in the fourth with Chase Austin starting with a double to left field. Jose Torres drove in Austin and Justin Bass with a double to make it 3-0.

Greensboro scored its final run in the seventh, helped along by two Hagerstown wild pitches.

Suns starter Graham Hicks (1-5) took the loss, allowing three runs in four innings.

The Suns and Grasshoppers return to action today at Municipal Stadium at 2:05 p.m. They close out the five-game series Monday at 7:05.
