The Washington County Association of Museums and Historical Sites and the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau sponsored the seventh annual Museum Ramble.

The annual self-guided tour included events at 20 local museums and historic sites.

One of the highlights of this year's event was the Museum Ramble Passport, which was given out at the Welcome Center in downtown Hagerstown and at the participating museums.

Participants kept track of the museums, and at the end of the trek, hundreds were dropped off at various museums throughout the county. One passport was drawn recently, and the winners were contacted.

According to Washington County Association of Museums and Historical Sites President Bill Knode, "After collecting all the passports from all the museums, we held a drawing at our annual picnic. We were very pleased to contact the winners, and we arranged to deliver to them the free basketful of goodies!"

The winners were Penny Oliver of Hagerstown and her daughters Abygale and Ashley Navarrete. The trio visited several museums and sites during event, and were pleased to be the winners.
