Katherine V. Keller Fink, born Oct. 15, 1917, passed away from her earthly pilgrimage on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, to be with her Lord and her beloved husband, Harold Y. Fink, who predeceased her on Oct. 27, 1989. They were married for 47 years. She was the daughter of the late Amos R. Keller Sr. and Daisy Thomas Keller. Four brothers predeceased her - Robert (Bob) Keller, Richard (Dick) Keller, Russell (Rut) Keller and Amos (Bud) Keller Jr.

Katherine lived in the Middletown area for most of her life. She and Harold had built two homes in Middletown and one on the family farm. In 1993 ,she moved to Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Md. Most recently, she resided at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Mount Airy, Md.

She is survived by her sister, Mary O'Hara (LaMar) of Frederick, Md.; her caregiver, Nancy Keller-Bonde of Middletown, Md.; her goddaughter, Christina Beahm Myers of Fairfield, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She will be fondly remembered for her contagious smile, outgoing personality and her warm heart.

Katherine worked for Farmers Cooperative in Frederick for 32 years and 10 years in the loan office of Middletown Valley Bank. While living at Fahrney-Keedy, she donated more than 4,000 hours assisting the office staff. She was a member of Christ Reformed Church in Middletown for 60-plus years before transferring her membership to Fahrney-Keedy Chapel Fellowship in 1994.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown.

A funeral service will be Monday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Christ Reformed Church, Middletown, with visitation at the church one hour before the service. The Rev. Louis Emerick will officiate.
