Maugansville Pride Day

The Maugansville Ruritan Club will hold its 30th annual Maugansville Pride Day on Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Ruritan Park.

The event will include craft vendors and lots of homemade food, including Italian sausages, funnel cakes, french fries, ice cream, country ham sandwiches, chicken-corn, ham and bean, and vegetable soups, hot dogs, steamers, hamburgers, cakes, pies and other goodies.

There will be free entertainment by Heavenly Harmony, performing at the opening ceremonies, country and western dance demonstrations, Maryland State Police dog demo and live bluegrass music by the Stoney Creek Band.

There will be barrel train rides for children. There will also be a "Candidate Karaoke" singalong. There is plenty of free parking and the only charge is for food.
