Donate unwanted bikes to help people
The City of Hagerstown is partnering with the Bikes for the World organization to hold a bike collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Public Works Building, 51 W. Memorial Blvd., Hagerstown. The collections will be on the parking lot at the corner of South Potomac Street and Memorial Boulevard.
Bikes for the World is a nonprofit organization with the mission of rescuing unwanted bikes and sending them to developing countries where they can transform lives.
