Benefit concert

James Wesley and Megan Mullins will perform a concert to raise donations and awareness for organ donation. U.S. Navy Cruisers

Meteor shower-watching party

TriState Astronomers will host a meteor shower-watching get-together to view the Perseid meteor shower. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. No restroom facilities. 9 p.m. today to 1 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13. Antietam National Battlefield Visitor Center, off Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. Free and open to the public. Canceled if the sky is cloudy. Call Dan at 301-988-9828.

Afro-percussion and jazz

Leitersburg Peach Festival
