Fancying up the Fairgrounds

Jail washes the pavilion Wednesday at the Franklin County Fairgrounds at 3725 Warm Spring Road west of Chambersburg in preparation for Sunday's opening of the fair. According to the fair's Web site at www.franklincountyfair.org, highlights of this year's fair include truck and tractor pulling, a skid steer loader operators rodeo, a chili cookoff, a karaoke contest, a photo contest, a talent contest, barnyard olympics and an animal dress-up parade.
