Investigators with the Hagerstown Police Department are looking for information about a man who was assaulted and robbed last week behind Walmart on Garland Groh Boulevard.
The man initially said he fell behind the Walmart, but police later were told he was assaulted and robbed, Lt. Mike King said Wednesday night.
The man, who was taken to Washington County Hospital about 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 3, is homeless, King said.
The man's injuries were not life-threatening, and he was being treated at Washington County Hospital for other reasons, King said Wednesday.
Police believe the man was assaulted by three males, King said.
Anyone with information about the incident may call the Hagerstown Police Department at 301-790-3700. A monetary reward is being offered for information, King said. Anyone with information should ask for Tammy Jurado in the detective division, King said.
