One taken to hospital after vehicle strikes garage



One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after the vehicle in which the individual was riding struck a garage on Chewsville Road, a 911 dispatcher said.

Chewsville Road was closed between White Hall and Mapleville roads (Md. 66) after the 9:16 p.m. accident, the dispatcher said.

Further details were not available late Tuesday.

57 Hewlett-Packard printer cartridges stolen from CVS



GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- Police said 57 Hewlett-Packard printer cartridges were stolen from the CVS store at 305 W. Baltimore St. on Monday.

It is believed that two males, one wearing a blue T-shirt and the other wearing a white T-shirt, were involved in the theft, which occurred about 12:27 p.m., according to the Greencastle Police Department.
