Pa. burglary investigated



MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information about a July 26 burglary at a house in the 3000 block of Mountain Road.

A dark sport utility vehicle dropped off an individual at the house about 3 p.m. and the person broke a door lock on one side of the house, state police said.

The homeowner arrived and observed a woman stepping off his side porch, state police said.

The woman, who walked toward Mountain Road while speaking Spanish, was picked up by the sport utility vehicle which left the scene, state police said.

Line trimmer stolen in break-in



MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- A Stihl line trimmer was stolen from a shed in the 8000 block of Lemar Road after a lock was cut off the building, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The burglary occurred between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 7 p.m. Thursday last week, state police said.

Anyone with information about the theft may call state police at 717-264-5161.

Dirt bike damaged after being stolen from shed



ST. THOMAS, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police said a dirt bike was stolen from a shed along Edenville Road over the weekend and they have two Chambersburg, Pa., juvenile suspects.

The blue-and-white Wildfire 110cc bike was stolen sometime between Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

The bike sustained heavy damage due to the juveniles riding it, state police said.
