FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Anna Florence Lloyd, 82, of Falling Waters, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Heartland Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born March 22, 1928, in Halfway, Md., she was the daughter of the late Rev. James L. and Minnie (Rice) Pittman.

Anna once worked as a seamstress at Perfection Garment.

She was also a dedicated mother and homemaker for her family.

She was a member of Marlowe Assembly of God, where she served as a youth leader, Women's Ministry leader, Sunday school teacher and pianist.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Lloyd Sr.; a daughter, Anna Margaret Lloyd; two sisters, Margaret Barnhart and Goldie Canby; and a brother, the Rev. Joseph L. Pittman.

She will be sadly missed by her three sons, the Rev. James M. Lloyd II and his wife, Diane, of Martinsburg, Kenneth L. Lloyd and his wife, Tami, of Martinsburg, and Terry L. Lloyd and his wife, Charity, of Marlowe, W.Va.; one daughter, Ruth L. Murray and her husband, Phillip, of Martinsburg; two sisters, Betty Bowers of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Ruth Abbott of Rockford, Ill.; six grandchildren, Stephanie Smith, Joshua Murray, Jessica Lloyd, Aaron Lloyd, Amber Lloyd and Ashli Lloyd; and two stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Megan Frye.

Friends will be received Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at Marlowe Assembly of God with the Rev. James M. Lloyd II, the Rev. Phillip Murray and the Rev. Norman Gloeckler officiating.

Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marlowe Assembly of God Church, Building Fund, 9045 Williamsport Pike, Falling Waters, WV 25419.
