St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Timothy Kroh, will preach at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services Sunday. Robin Spickler, soprano, will provide music at the second service. The adult forum is at 9 a.m. Youth Sunday school resumes in the fall.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Brenda Meier Kimaro, director for congregational and community engagement for Lutheran World Relief will preach at the 8:15 a.m. communion service and 10:30 a.m. worship service. Pastor Quentin Fleming will preside at both services. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Eric Norgard is presider Sunday at the 9 a.m. praise worship in fellowship hall and the 10:55 a.m. evangelical worship in the sanctuary.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the sermon topic will be Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord at the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday.


First Christian Church, the Rev. Timothy Murtaugh will share the message, Words, at the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school for all ages at 10:15 a.m.

First Baptist Church, 15 High St., Hagerstown, Pastor Thom Smith will speak on The Blind at the 11 a.m. service Sunday.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the Rev. Carol Hallman will preach Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The topic will be Faith. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Rachel Black's message at the 10 a.m. service Sunday will be, Facing Jesus Seriously. Marybelle Hose will be worship leader. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Trinity Episcopal Church, Chambersburg, Pa., Sunday, the Rev. Patrick Pierce will be preacher/celebrant at 8 and 10 a.m. communion services. The topic will be A Wake-up Call. Weekly services of healing and communion are at noon Wednesdays in the parish hall.

Valley Assembly of God, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, Sunday, the Rev. Dan Johnson will speak at the 10 a.m. service. Bible study for all ages at 9 a.m. Evening worship at 6 p.m. with Johnson. Wednesday activities at 7 p.m.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp will share the meditation, A New Order, at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Hispanic services at 6 p.m. Sunday.

A Cry in the Wilderness Ministries, 15221 Wyndham Ave. at Tracey's Corner in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. features a praise service.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 14106 National Pike, Clear Spring, Pastor Allen Reed will speak on the topic, Living and Dying in Faith at the 8:15 a.m. communion service, which includes a children's sermon. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. Mid-week worship is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Zion United Church of Christ, the Rev. Ken Daniel will speak at the 10 a.m. service on the topic, What Does the Lord Require of Me? Violinist Alexander Martre will perform. Sunday school will resume in the fall.

Welty Church of the Brethren, Greensburg, Tim Ritchey-Martin will speak on the topic, Amazing Grace, Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

St. Peter's (Beard's) Lutheran Church, Old Forge Road, seminarian Brian Biery will speak at the 9:15 a.m. service Sunday.

Mount Vernon Reformed UCC, Keedysville, Pastor Delancy Catlett will speak on Living Into the Promise at the 10:45 a.m. service.

Christ Reformed UCC, Sharpsburg, Pastor Delancy Catlett will lead the congregation at 9 a.m. on the topic, Living Into the Promise.

St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Beaver Creek Church Road, has a service at 8:45 a.m. Sunday with Pastor Dave Kaplan speaking on the topic, Looking Through Eyes of Faith.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Marilyn Washburn will lead the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday. The topic will be Where is Your Treasure. Adult Bible study is at 10:45 a.m.

Tri-State Fellowship, Associate Pastor Lester will lead the 9:30 a.m. classic service and Guest Speaker Corey Forsyth, a Moody Bible Institute student will lead the 11 a.m. bridge service Sunday on the topic, Do You Truly Love Me More Than These? in the Great Bible Questions series. Children's and student programs are offered. High school youth meet at 6 p.m.

Trinity Reformed UCC, 33 Potomac St., Boonsboro, the Rev. Don Stevenson will speak Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on the topic, Faith and the Out-Stretched Heart.

Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Pastor Randy Reid will speak at the 9:30 a.m. worship on the topic, You Can Have the Kingdom. Sunday school at 10:45 a.m.

Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville, at Sunday's 10:30 a.m. worship service, those who attended the recent COB National Youth Conference will speak on the topic, More Than Meets the Eye. Summer Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m.

Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Larry Aikens will speak Sunday at 11 a.m. on the topic, What is This Done Unto Us? The message will be, A Course Complete, at 6 p.m. Sunday. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. Bible Study, prayer meeting, teen group and Patch Clubs meet Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
