August 03, 2010

GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- A West Virginia man is facing charges after being caught naked in Greencastle on Sunday night, borough police said.

Greencastle Police Chief John Phillippy said James Slavik, 43, of Hedgesville, W.Va., was charged at 11:55 p.m. with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he was caught by an off-duty officer on the borough's square.

He ran naked from one side of the square to the other during the unofficial opening of the community's Old Home Week celebration, Phillippy said.
