Hempen Hill BBQ

Hempen Hill BBQ is participating in Share Our Strength's Great American Dine Out, a weeklong national fundraiser to combat childhood hunger.

From Sept. 19 to 25, Hempen Hill BBQ and thousands of other restaurants will raise money for No Kid Hungry, Share Our Strength's national campaign to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.

The organization is working with state, community and private-sector leaders nationwide to connect hungry families with programs that can help them.

Last year, Hempen Hill BBQ was among the nearly 4,000 restaurants that helped raise nearly $800,000 by donating a portion of the week's sales, offering special promotions, or collecting donations from customers.


This year, Hempen Hill BBQ is donating a portion of its sales from the entire week.

Keystone Health

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- Keystone Health, a full-service, family-centered, primary health care facility, recently announced it is expanding its 340B discount drug program so more Pennsylvania families can afford medications.

Keystone is offering the program in partnership with SUNRx, a Bucks County health care technology company.

Created by the federal government to expand access to affordable medications, the 340B program discounts prescriptions up to 60 percent below retail through community health centers and hospitals.

Keystone has partnered with the following pharmacies to allow patients to fill their prescriptions and receive discounts:

For the fifth year in the past six, financial-services firm Edward Jones ranks highest in investor satisfaction with full-service brokerage firms in the J.D. Power and Associates 2010 Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study, the five Hagerstown-area financial advisors have announced.

The study measures overall investor satisfaction in the categories of investment advisor, portfolio performance, account information, account offerings, commissions and fees, website and problem resolution. The study found that Edward Jones "performed particularly well across the two highest-weighted factors: Investment Advisor and Investment Performance."

Edward Jones' overall score climbed 10 points over last year, when it also was ranked highest among the 12 largest firms rated.

The 2010 Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study is based on responses from 4,460 investors who primarily invest with one of the 12 firms included in the study.
