Volunteer cabinet announced for Washington County United Way

United Way of Washington County has announced its 2010 volunteer campaign Cabinet.

This year's campaign is being led by Carolyn Brooks, lead local coordinator of C-Safe and Character Counts, and Roger Stenersen, a former principal for Washington County Public Schools.

Returning to this year's committee are 2009's campaign co-chairs, Greg Snook and Hagerstown Community College professor Mike Harsh, as well as the 2008 campaign co-chairs, Noel Williams and Centra Bank's Tim Henry.

Also returning from past Cabinets are Sarah Lankford from the Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission; Shaun O'Neal from ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC; Adam Roberson from the Community Free Clinic; and Dave Warner from the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown.

New campaign volunteers include Ronnie Brezler from Centra Bank; Matthew Burnside from AFLAC; Jill Colbert from Citi; Cliff Kurt from the Washington County Community Mediation Center; Scott Paddack from the Mason-Dixon Council of Boy Scouts of America; and Brooke Wenger from Triad Engineering

This year's campaign will kick off Friday, Aug. 27, at Wind Down Friday. This year's event, sponsored in part by Citi, will include a donor reception at Potomac Walk on Bulls & Bears and an official kickoff during Wind Down Friday at The Maryland Theatre.
