School board candidate interviews to begin Thursday

WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Interviews with candidates to fill an opening on the Waynesboro Area School Board have been rescheduled for Thursday.

The board will be interviewing people who applied to fill a school board vacancy created by the mid-July resignation of Brenda Lucas. District officials said three people submitted applications for the seat.

Interviews were originally scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Instead, they'll start at 6 p.m. Thursday in the district's administrative offices on Clayton Avenue.
