WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Angalena K. Robinson, 16, of 8586 Capital Hill Road, Waynesboro, died Thursday afternoon, July 29, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident on Tomstown Road, Waynesboro.

Born Sept. 11, 1993, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of Tammy S. (Benedict) and Randy Lushbaugh of Waynesboro, and Dwayne S. Robinson of Falling Waters, W.Va.

Angalena had just completed her junior year of high school at Waynesboro Area Senior High School, where she was a health-care tech student and was active on the cheerleading squad.

She was currently employed at McDonald's in Waynesboro and was looking forward to joining the Army following graduation from high school next year.


Angalena was active in activities at Five Forks Brethren in Christ Church and the Waynesboro YMCA. She enjoyed volunteering at the Antietam Humane Society and the Special Olympics in Chambersburg.

She was outgoing and enjoyed being with her friends. She was a car enthusiast and enjoyed working on her 1972 Pontiac Lemans. She also enjoyed shopping, fishing and being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Amanda Robinson of Hagerstown and Justina Lushbaugh of Waynesboro; two brothers, Dwayne Robinson II of Waynesboro and Christopher Lushbaugh of Hagerstown; her boyfriend, Damien Winegardner of Hagerstown; her grandparents, Sandra Robinson of Cumberland, Md., Harvey Benedict and Sharon Nyhart of Clear Spring, Md., Christine Benedict of Martinsburg, W.Va., Gayle Javins of Martinsburg, Dawn and Pete Young of Hagerstown, and Jack Lushbaugh and Sandy Mills of Hagerstown; one niece; two nephews; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Five Forks Brethren in Christ Church, 9244 Five Forks Road, Waynesboro, with Pastor Ray Kipe officiating. Burial will follow in Mont Alto Cemetery, Mont Alto, Pa.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268; or The Franklin Learning Center, 2397 Loop Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
