St. John's Episcopal Church, the the Rev. Timothy Kroh, will preach at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday. David Baker, bass, will provide music at the second service. The adult forum is at 9 a.m. Youth Sunday school resumes in the fall.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming will preside and preach at the 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship with communion and healing prayers. The topic is Where is Your Treasure? Sunday school for all ages is at 9:15 a.m.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the sermon topic will be The Blood and Body of Jesus, at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday communion service.

First Christian Church, the Rev. Timothy Murtaugh will bring the message, Riches, at the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services this Sunday. Sunday school for all ages at 10:15 a.m.


First Baptist Church, 15 High St., Hagerstown, Pastor Thom Smith will speak on Compassion for the Outsider at the 11 a.m. service Sunday.

Christ Reformed UCC, Cavetown, the Rev. Carol Hallman will preach this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The topic will be All I Ever Needed to Know I Learned in VBS. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Jean Minnick and Joyce Minnick will share highlights from the 2010 annual conference at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Warren Frusher and Anthony Minnick will be worship leader. The worship theme is Taking Jesus Seriously. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God, 17544 York Road, Hagers-town, Sunday, the topic at the 10 a.m. service is The Church Family, part three. Bible study for all ages at 9 a.m. Evening worship at 6 p.m. on the topic, Evidences of the Holy Spirit. Wednesday activities at 7 p.m.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp will bring the meditation, Financial Peace, at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., Pastor Ray Barger will be speaking at 10:40 a.m. Sunday on Rejoice! Reflect. Repeat in the Springs of Life series. Christian education for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday gathering with Bible study, prayer, and teen club at 7 p.m.

Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, 14615 Fairview Church Road, Clear Spring, Pastor Allen Reed will speak on the topic, Things of Heaven or Things of Earth?, this Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service, which includes a children's sermon. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

Zion United Church of Christ, the Rev. Gerry Hanberry will speak at the 10 a.m. service on the topic, Walking, Doing and Loving. Sue and Meagan Graff will perform a flute duet. Sunday school will resume in the fall.

Welty Church of the Brethren, Greensburg, Pastor Michael Manthos will speak on the topic, Seek Ye First ... Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Beaver Creek Church Road, has a service at 8:45 a.m. this Sunday with Pastor Dave Kaplan speaking on the topic, Troubling Question.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Keedysville, offers Sunday school for youth and adults at 9:30 a.m. and a communion service at 10:45 a.m. with Pastor Dave Kaplan speaking on the topic, Troubling Question.

Tri-State Fellowship, Associate Pastor Chris Wiles will lead the 9:30 a.m. classic service and Associate Pastor Eric Boutieller will lead the 11 a.m. bridge service this Sunday on the topic, How Can They Believe in the One of Whom They Have Not Heard in the Great Bible Questions series. Children's and student programs are offered. High school youth meet at 6 p.m.

Trinity Reformed UCC, 33 Potomac St., Boonsboro, the Rev. Don Stevenson will be speaking this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on the topic, Living Inside Out.

New Beginning Community Church, corner of Dual Highway and Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Mark Snyder will share a message at 11 a.m. Sunday on Family on the Run. Music by LeAnne Snyder. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. Snyder will continue a study in the book of Titus Wednesday at 7 p.m.
