Balloon Festival

Hot air balloons will participate in five planned flights at 6 p.m. Friday; 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday; 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. Arts and humanities weekend in Shepherdstown, W.Va., include a variety of exhibitions by local artists, with many artists on hand to discuss their work. There will also be musical performances, guided walking tours of the town and more. Contemporary American Theater Festival will offer theatrical performances and other events.
