EDGEWOOD, Md. -- A Hagerstown man was critically injured Monday night when he was shot multiple times in Edgewood, according to a Harford County Sheriff's Office press release.
John William Harris IV, 28, of Washington Street, was taken to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, deputies said.
A hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday night that Harris is in critical condition.
Harris was shot Monday about 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Meadowood Drive, deputies said. He was taken to the shock trauma center by ambulance.
Police are investigating several theories and believe the shooting was not a random act of violence, deputies said.
