Transition Town Training

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Residents of the Tri-State area will have the opportunity to attend a workshop designed to make their communities more resilient, sustainable and less dependent on foreign oil. A Transition Town Training will be held Sept. 25 and 26 at Panorama at the Peak.

Certified trainers Bill and Rebecca Wilson from Midwest Permaculture in Stelle, Ill., will lead the workshop.

Some scholarships will be offered to interested high school and college students and there is a sliding scale for others with need. A maximum of 32 people can attend. To register, call Belquis Lynne at 304-258-9183.
