SYKESVILLE, Md. - Richard William Jones, 77, of Sykesville, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Md.
Born June 26, 1933, in Maryland, he was the son of the late John William and Mildred Elizabeth Murray Jones.
He was the husband of Suzanne Jones of Sykesville.
He had been a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed traveling and camping in his motor home.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, Michael Wayne Beahm and wife, Mariah, George Calvin Beahm and companion, Christy Mitchell, Richard Lee Jones, and John Thomas Jones; one daughter, Barbara Ann Griffith and husband, Arnold; two brothers, J.W. "Bill" Jones Jr. and wife, Barbara, and Charlie Jones and wife, Judy; two sisters, L. Irene Brightner and Annie Bork; eight grandchildren, Rita Perkins, Angel, Dustin and Laura Jones, Derek Jones, Jimmy Mitchell, Winter Mitchell-Beahm and Brittany Beahm; mother-in-law, Luanne Summers; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Susan Summers, Melinda and John Bassett, Jen and Art Sasso, Becky and Ron Kunz, and Jon and Jennie Summers; and many loving nieces and nephews.
