Graffiti spray painted in Waynesboro



WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Graffiti was spray painted earlier this week in several areas along Hamilton Avenue in Waynesboro, Pa., the Waynesboro Police Department said.

The Renaissance Garden apartments and the front of a newspaper box were among the places that were tagged with "BG" or "B6," according to a police department press release.

Waynesboro man charged with injuring wife



WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- A Waynesboro, Pa., man was charged with injuring his wife, who was pushed into a door Sunday, the Waynesboro Police Department said.

John Anthony Carillo, of North Potomac Street, was charged with one count of simple assault domestic violence following a Sunday morning incident in which his wife allegedly was pushed three times during an argument, according to a police department press release. The woman's hand was injured, and she was taken to Waynesboro Hospital to receive treatment, police said.

Items stolen from graves in Waynesboro



WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Items valued at more than $100 were stolen over the past two months from two graves at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro, Pa., the Waynesboro Police Department said.

The victim, who reported the loss on Sunday, told police that the stolen items included two angel statues, a metal planter with a flower arrangement and two hanging baskets, according to a Waynesboro Police Department press release.

Police said the most recent crime occurred last weekend.

Soda machine at park damaged



WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- A Pepsi machine was damaged between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park in Waynesboro, Pa., according to a Waynesboro Police Department press release.

Franklin County emergency calls



The following incidents were reported by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:

Thursday

o At 1:25 a.m., the Waynesboro Fire Department responded to a traffic accident at Ringold and Smithsburg pikes in Washington County.

Friday

o At 3:02 p.m., a traffic accident with no injuries was reported at 949 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg.

o At 3:54 p.m., a traffic accident with no injuries was reported on Tomstown Road at Anthony Highway in Washington Township.

o At 9:55 p.m., a minor electrical fire was reported in a residence at 420 S. Potomac St. in Waynesboro.
