BOONSBORO - The outdoor tent was nearly full at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village July 11 as residents, residents' families, friends and staff enjoyed the patriotic tunes performed by the Williamsport Community Band.

"We were blessed with blue skies and low humidity on Sunday. It was an ideal way to relax on a pleasant summer afternoon," said Keith R. Bryan, interim president/CEO.

The Williamsport Community Band has been entertaining its fans for more than 10 years with seasonal concerts and performances throughout the Tri-State area. For a list of upcoming events, go to wmsptcommunityband.webs.com/.

Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village, a continuing care retirement community, is along Route 66 a few miles outside Boonsboro, in Western Maryland.
