July 20, 2010

Organizers of the fourth annual Hagerstown Hispanic Festival are looking for vendors and Hispanic artisans and entertainers to participate in this year's festival.

"We're looking for vendors, participants, live entertainment and anyone who is interested in being part of this fun event," said organizer Diana Reyes, president of Hispanic Association of Hagerstown.

Salsaley Orquesta, a 12-member band, has already signed on to perform.

The festival features Hispanic music, dancing, arts, food from local Hispanic restaurants, exhibits and a children's activities pavilion.

The festival is a nonprofit event and proceeds fund scholarships for Hispanic students attending Hagerstown Community College.

The festival will be Sunday, Sept. 19, from noon to 6 p.m. at Hagerstown's Fairgrounds Park.
