Skyline Boys to appear at church in Keedysville



The Skyline Boys, a Southern gospel music group, will appear at United Christian Fellowship Church in Keedysville on Saturday at 7 p.m. A love offering will be accepted.

Heritage Festival seeks artists, craftspeople



The Sharpsburg Heritage Festival Committee is accepting applications for artists and crafts-people for the festival in Sharpsburg.

The festival will be Saturday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Burnside Church to hold VBS



Burnside First Church of God, at 3904 Mills Road in Sharpsburg, will hold a Vacation Bible school from July 18 to 23, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The theme is "Seaquest: Diving for God's Treasure" and is for those ages 2 through sixth grade.

Citizens to host candidates' forum



Citizens for the Preservation of Pleasant Valley will host a local candidates forum Wednesday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road.

All candidates and the public are invited to attend. There will be introductions and a question-and-answer session for those candidates running for the office of county commissioner or sheriff.
