Zumba event set for July 22
Opening night for an eight-week Zumba class will be Thursday, July 22, at 7 p.m. at Elgin Station, 40 Elgin Blvd. in Hagerstown.
Opening night is free for anyone to come and try the class. There will be a $3 charge per class after opening night.
Snacks and prizes will be available.
The 6 p.m. Monday night Zumba class at Elgin Station will continue. Zumba is exercise done to Latin music.

Baby-sitting course to be held Tuesday
The Washington County chapter of the American Red Cross will conduct a baby sitter's training course Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 1131 Conrad Court in Hagerstown.
The course costs $45 and financial aid is available. Registration is required. Space is limited.
The purpose of the course is to provide those ages 11 to 15 with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. The training is geared to help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism, basic care, safety and safe play, and first aid.
