Rummage sale to be held at church



St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Big Pool will hold a rummage sale in its basement Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

3-on-3 tournament set for this weekend



Heritage Academy on Walnut Point Road will hold a 3-on-3 basketball tournament Friday and Saturday.

It is open to the community for anyone in high school or older. The winning team will win $150. Each team is guaranteed two games.

The entry fee costs $45 per team if paid before Wednesday and $60 after that. Registration starts Friday at 4:30 p.m. and games start at 5.

Concessions will be available.

Proceeds go to the Class of 2011's mission trip. For more information or to register, call 301-739-5568.

Soccer registration



A reminder that Thursday is the deadline to register for the Clear Spring Soccer Club. Registration forms are available from its website at http://www.clearspringsoccerclub.com under "Player Registration" on the left hand side of the page.

All registration forms and payment should be mailed by July 15 to CSSC, 12844 St. Paul Road, Clear Spring, MD 21722.
