The Williamsport High School class of 1971 is hosting its 40th class reunion and is in need of help preparing for the special event. Museum to host Thomas the Tank Engine day

Visit the Railroad Museum at City Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a special Thomas the Tank Engine day.

Storytime events to be held at Valley Mall

Moms and children will have the opportunity to visit the mall (Macy's Court) beginning Thursday, July 15, for storytime events from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This event is for children ages two through eight.

Stories will be presented by Tammy Gantz and Marcella Whitmore along with poems, songs, finger plays and crafts. This event is for children and moms who are members of the Moms and Me Club at Valley Mall.

Hager House event planned next week

Visit the Hager House on Thursday, July 15, for a special program about infamous criminals of Hagerstown and neighboring states.

Those who attend will learn about infamous criminals from the 18th and 19th centuries and the sensational reporting of their demises. A lecture and slide show is planned.

Music by the Lake series to host popular band

This special summer concert series will feature local performers Tori Anderson & Possum Holler. Events will be held at the City Park bandshell on Saturday, July 17, at 7 p.m.
