Hagerstown fireworks
Hagerstown's Independence Day celebration will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday with opening ceremonies. Entertainment at 6:30 p.m., with Mary Lou and the Untouchables playing rhythm and blues and classic rock, free children's activities and a nine-hole golf course. A 15,996-shell fireworks display will follow at about 9:30 p.m. Bring blankets and lawn chairs. Personal fireworks, pets, bicycles and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
