Kevin's Fund Golf Tournament is June 25



Maugansville Ruritan Club will host its seventh annual Kevin's Fund Golf Tournament at Black Rock Golf Course on Friday, June 25, starting at 8:30 a.m.

The cost is $85 per golfer or $320 per foursome, which includes greens fees, cart, contests, on-course refreshments and post-tournament meal.

There will be first- and second-place prizes in three flights. Contests include hole-in-one, putting, closest to the pin on all par 3s and longest drive.

The Ruritan Club is looking for golfers, hole sponsors and donations of door prizes.

During the past six years, the tournament has raised nearly $60,000 to help children with special medical needs.

Yard sale



Hagerstown Business and Professional Women's Club will hold a yard sale Saturday, June 19, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 17815 Garden View Road.

Some of the items being sold are housewares, books, jewelry, clothes and miscellaneous items. Proceeds will benefit the club's scholarship program and community projects.

The Church of Christ at Hagerstown will host "Galactic Blast: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God" from June 20 to 25 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 10014 White Hall Road in Hagerstown.

A kick-off party will be Sunday, June 20, at 6 p.m. The public is invited.

Bible college taking registrations



Antietam Bible College, Biblical Seminary and Graduate School, at 15 High St. in Hagerstown, is accepting registration for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 16.
