Ambulances called to scene of reported drowning in St. Thomas

ST. THOMAS, Pa. - Ambulances were called to 9983 Lincoln Way West at 8:05 p.m. Sunday for a reported drowning, according to a Franklin County (Pa.) 911 Center dispatcher.

Adam McNew, a deputy chief with the St. Thomas Fire and Rescue Co., said a 2-year-old boy was taken to Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital, from where a helicopter flew him to Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center.

Pennsylvania State Police were notified of the incident, the dispatcher said.

No other information was available Sunday night.
