The Western Maryland Troopers Association has entered into an agreement with the Washington County Board of Education to award one $2,000 scholarship to a public high school senior who will be entering a college to study criminal justice.
The association's executive board has reviewed scholarship applications from several Washington County High School seniors and has awarded the $2,000 scholarship for the fall 2010/11 academic year to Jason Hammond, a senior at Williamsport High School.
Jason is planning to attend York College in the fall.
