Air Show 'chalet' tickets go on sale

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Special seating is available for a close-up vantage point during the Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Air Show during the 167th Airlift Wing's open house on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4 and 5.

A limited number of tickets for tented chalets - set up on the show line - are on sale at the Martinsburg Mall's guest services booth. The chalets will offer shaded front row seating and allow individuals to view the aerial performances of the elite U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights.

The chalets will also provide a relaxing area for those wanting to also enjoy the festivities of the Wing's two-day Open House.

Tickets cost $20 per person per day.
