HANCOCK - Betty Louise Graham, 76, of Hancock, Md., died Friday, May 21, 2010.

She was born June 29, 1933, in Morgan Mines, W.Va., to the late Ross and Mae Kisner Cozad.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Graham in 1976. They were married Dec. 30, 1950.

She was a Christian.

She was employed by Londontowne Coat Factory, Hancock, for 23 years until her retirement.

She was a member of Hemlock CEOS Club of Morgan County, W.Va.

She had a great passion for loving and caring for babies.

Survivors include daughter, Penelope Murphy of Hagerstown, Md.; son, John R. Graham Jr. of Millersville, Md.; son, Thomas R. Graham of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; sister, Helen Sipes of Little Orleans, Md.; sister, Pearl Fields of Clarksburg, W.Va.; brother, Robert Cozad of Kingwood, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Betty Cozad of Kingwood; grandchildren, Larry Bivens Jr., Andrew Bivens, John R. Graham III, Elizabeth Cosner, Eric Graham, T.J. Graham, Karen Graham, Josh Graham, Trish Douglas, Laken Douglas and Michelle McCarty; and great-grandchildren, Darianna, Jasmine, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Jesse, John IV, Emma, Rachael, Lokin and Ericah. She also is survived by special friends, Leila, Ruby, Sherrie, Marie, Anna, Mary Jane, Shirley, Beatti, Mary and Carol.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa L. Bivens; two sisters, Doris Broadwater and Mildred Shingleton; and three brothers, Earl Cozad, William Cozad and Kenneth Cozad.

A memorial service will be Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, Hancock at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Anjel Scarborough officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

At Betty's request, her body was donated to the Maryland Anatomy Board.
