WILLIAMSPORT - Ruth Helen Kirkwood, 88, of 16505 Virginia Avenue, Williamsport, Md., passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Homewood at Williamsport.
Born Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1921, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Inglis and the late Elizabeth M. Faber Inglis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert H. Kirkwood Sr., in 1990.
She was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
She is survived by her son, Albert H. Kirkwood Jr., of Falling Waters, W.Va.; two brothers, James Inglis of Baltimore, Md., and Clarence Inglis of Ohio; two grandchildren, Stephanie Jackson of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Jason Kirkwood of Sarasota, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren.
