HAGERSTOWN -- Hagerstown Suns starter Josh Smoker had no trouble with Daniel Butler and Reymond Fuentes in their first at-bats Friday.
After that, the Suns had no answer for Greenville's No. 5 and No. 6 hitters.
Butler and Fuentes each went 4-for-5 with two RBIs to highlight Greenville's 15-hit attack as the Drive beat the Suns 9-5 Friday night in front of 1,740 fans at Municipal Stadium.
Butler and Chris McGuiness homered and Ronald Bermudez added three hits for the Drive (24-25) in the first game of Hagerstown's eight-game homestand.
McGuiness gave the Drive a 1-0 lead in the first with his sixth homer of the season and Fuentes made it 2-0 in the fourth with a single that scored Bermudez.
